What are OCR Nationals - A Pupil Guide

An OCR National (at Level 2) is a nationally recognised qualification worth up to 4 GCSEs grade (A* - C). The key feature of the OCR nationals are:

  • one mandatory unit
  • a comprehensive range of user, practitioner and multimedia units
  • flexible candidate entry (there are no entry deadlines)
  • no external assessment (all qualifications are centre-assessed and externally moderated by an OCR Visiting Moderator)
  • no set dates for moderation.
